Product Reviews
I was very pleased with this product, however it was a bit to big for the pot I had in mind for it.However it looks great in the boarder where I am growing both tomatos and morning glorys up it.
The spire consists of five metal legs topped by a twisted finial. You position it where its needed – in a pot or in the ground – pulling the legs outwards slightly and pushing them into the ground/compost. The plant can be tied to the legs or is kept upright within them. I bought four and they are supporting tomatoes and cucumbers, but would be suitable for ornamental climbers too. Quite heavy, so any pot would have to be large, but otherwise neat and attractive.

Martyn Cox, The City Gardener - Supporting Climbers
"Cordon tomatoes are traditionally grown up canes but if you're planning on growing them in large pots, try a decorative growing spire. Made from wrought iron, the 1.8m tall, narrow tower can be placed on the surface of the container."
