Supplied as 4 plants in 9cm pots. Your Picea plants will arrive pre-planted in 9cm pots and packed in specially designed protective packaging to ensure they're in top condition when you receive them. All you need to do is remove them from the box, give them a good dose of water and leave to 'rest' for 1-2 days in a sheltered spot. Carefully remove from pot before planting and make sure the hole is deep and wide enough to fit the entire root ball without bending or breaking the roots. Water-in after planting. This is a charming dwarf conifer with heaps of character, forming a dense, upright cone of closely packed short, deep green needles. In late spring, the new growth at the tips of the shoots is bright, almost lime green. Best grown in a moist soil, too dry soils can cause the needs to turn brown and drop off. It's compact size and shape makes it ideal for rock gardens and containers.
