Pinks offer you wonderful 'Summer into- Autumn' displays of clove scented flowers; they are perfect for garden decoration as well as masses of fragrant cut-flowers - you can even grow them in pots and tubs on your patio! The term 'Pinks' originates from the description of the ruffled edge to each individual petal, which when closely inspected, looks as if it has been formed by trimming with 'pinking-shears'. The attractive, evergreen foliage forms a tidy mound from which the flower stems erupt for months on end! We have selected a collection which covers the widest colour range available but also have that traditional scent that has been lost with so many of the modern varieties we see sold as cut flowers. They are all fully hardy, evergreen and will flower from July onwards every year. Height 30-45 cm.
