Being a broadcast machine, the Agri-Fab 45-0471 is ideal for covering larger areas of ground with a high output of material. The hopper is constructed of tough, corrosion proof poly-plastic and takes 59kg of material. The spread width range is generous, from 3.05 to 3.65 metres, giving you coverage of up to half an acre (2320m2), depending on speed and the material used. An innovative ‘smartshield’ deflector system prevents the over-spraying of materials such as ice melts, seeds, salt or fertilisers, to protect delicate plants, while a durable and water-proof cover keeps moisture out of the hopper. The overall weight (under 17kg) makes this push-style spreader easy to handle, aided by the chunky pneumatic tyres and there is a comfortable soft-grip handle.
