Thermos containers from Alfi have been keeping hot items warm and cold items cool for more than 80 years. The double-walled vacuum tempered glass insert comprises two parts, the inner and outer walls. Both parts are only joined together at the neck of the jug to create a themal insulated cavity. The insides of the flasks, which make up the cavity area, are coated in silver to reflect the thermal radiation. Insulating effect for up to 16 hours. Alfi Thermos Carafe ‘Hotello’ The ‘Hotello’ carafes are a special feature in the Alfi range. Instead of the doubled glass body, they feature a double vacuum pump stainless steel body. Although the insulating effect is less than that of glass, the carafes can be put into the dishwasher as they are, and are unbreakable. They do not have the standard rubber stopper but a metal top which rests loosely on the neck of the jug, allowing drinks to be served easily. The jug is ideal for convenient serving at the table.
