Attracting wildlife to your garden can be a truly rewarding pastime. By increasing the bio-diversity of your garden, nature’s little helpers really will look after you. Adding a few select plants here and there or creating a special boarder just for them, mini-beasts from far and wide will flock to your garden to feed breed and hibernate.

Butterflies are perhaps one of the most beautiful insects to make a visit, taking time to lap up the rich nectar from Buddleia or sunbathing on brightly coloured Achilles. Bee’s and Hover Flies will spend many a happy hour getting drunk on nectar from Foxgloves, Penstemons and Spires’s, with the added side-effect of pollinating all your fruit and veg.

With these diminutive creatures comes a vast array of other wildlife that will all thrive in your gardens eco-system. Dragonflies, Songbirds, Hedgehogs, Frogs, and Toads will all feast on this veritable abundance of insects.
