Cub Cadet’s innovative Synchro Steer™ technology allows you to control the front castor-wheels using the steering-wheel. This, in conjunction with an independent drive to each of the rear-wheels, gives you the sought-after Zero-Turn capability. The superior manoeuvrability that the Cub Cadet Z-Force S48 provides will enable you to get the job done in around half the time of a conventional ride-on, as you’ll be able to zip around obstacles and turn on the spot and the end of each pass. A premium quality 22hp pressure-lubricated Kawasaki engine offers an impressively lengthy working-life and delivers power smoothly and efficiently across the rev-band; while a dedicated rear-wheel hydrostatic-drive provides infinitely-variable speed control (both forward and reverse) using a convenient foot-pedal. Built to cope easily with the rigours of intensive commercial use, the Cub Cadet Z-Force S48 is constructed around a computer-designed 1.5-inch welded-steel frame and has an 11-gauge steel deck. Its pivoting front axle and 120cm floating cutter-deck work to ensure the blades closely follow the contours of the ground for a consistent cut; while its wide-stance and low-centre of gravity ensure you’ll have no problems working on slopes and undulating terrain. Gauge wheels on the deck help to prevent scalping; and electronic blade-engagement ensures wear is minimised. Other features on this fantastic machine include the SmartJet™ deck-wash system, which makes it easy to clean the deck underside after mowing; and an adjustable high-back seat (with arm-rests) which can be set-up to suit any operator.
