A stately clump forming plant with upright stems bearing reddish-toned foliage and light green leaves. Flowers have red eyes set in green bracts. Suitable for a rock garden or in a mixed or shrub border. They grow best in dry sunny conditions, but can tolerate partial shade.   milky sap may irritate skin. Supplied in a 1litre pot.
