With the folding chairs in the DUNE range, Fermob broke new ground a few years ago. While the frame is built traditionally and is given just as high quality rust protection as the tables which are also available from us, the seats and backrests are covered with Batyline® fabric cloth. It consists of PVC-covered polyester threads which are woven and then welded at the intersections. The fabric is UV-resistant and impervious to rain or heat. As the fibres absorb no water, the chairs dry off very quickly after rain. It can be simply cleaned with soapy water and a hose. The main thing is, however, that you can sit on DUNE chairs incredibly comfortably even without a cushion. Height 87 cm, seat height 48 cm, width 43 cm, depth 49 cm, weight 4.5 kg. It follows that the furniture of countless street cafés and bistros, as well as public parks and gardens (e.g. the Jardin de Luxembourg in Paris) comes from Fermob.
