A rare and choice fritillary, and one of the earliest to bloom! It is a free-flowering and particularly garden-worthy form selected from the more northerly populations of the species. The slender stems carry large, nodding, golden-yellow flowers, and will look extremely pretty in pots or borders. Flowers March-April. Height 10-30cm. Bulb size 6/7cm.
