Sowing Sow in pots or trays in a good seed compost under glass at 24-25°C. Cover with glass or polythene to retain humidity. Planting As soon as the seedlings emerge, remove the cover. When seedlings are about 4cm (1½”) tall, prick off into trays 5cm (2”) apart or individually into pots. Grow on and gradually harden off before planting out 30-40cm (12-16”) apart in May. Other Instructions Impatiens make an impressive display when planted in tower pots, which induces a semi-trailing habit.
