The Mountfield SP414 is equipped with a rear-wheel power-drive, which eliminates the need to push and so makes it particularly suited to lawns with inclines or areas of rough grass. Its easy-starting 100cc Mountfield engine provides all the benefits you’d expect from a four-stroke power-unit (less noise, fewer emissions, etc), while its five-position height-of-cut (25 – 70mm) ensures you’ll be able to achieve a ‘just so’ finish. Lightweight yet robust, the Mountfield SP414 features a polypropylene chassis that won’t corrode and will easily cope with accidental impact. It benefits from the inclusion of high-volume 40-litre collector, which helps to minimise down-time; and it incorporates an OPC (Operator Presence Control); a safety device that cuts the engine when you release the main handle. This compact model has a 39cm width-of-cut; ideal for lawns of around 20 metres-squared.
