The unit is very easy to use and may be hung on a wall fence or mounted on a ground stake. The built in motion sensor detects the animal entering the area and emits a piercing high decibel alarm that will startle the animal away. As the unit is ultrasonic most sounds emitted will not be detectable by the human ear. The frequencies used are sonic high sonic ultra sonic and high ultrasonic.
