Phoenix Canariensis - Palm Tree - 5L Pot

Supplied in a 5ltr pot. Your Phoenix plant will arrive pre-planted in a 5ltr pot and packed in specially designed protective packaging to ensure it's in top condition when you receive it. All you need to do is remove it from the box, give it a good dose of water and leave to 'rest' for 1-2 days in a sheltered spot. Carefully remove from pot before planting and make sure the hole is deep and wide enough to fit the entire root ball without bending or breaking the roots. Water-in after planting. This is the traditional 'Palm-Tree' that you see surrounding Miami beaches! Supplied pre-planted in a large 5 litre pot, is perfect for creating an exotic look in your garden. It's really easy to look after too, simply plant in the ground or put it straight on the patio in it's pot and leave to it's own devices, this plant requires virtually no maintenance. To start with it will have a stout stem but eventually will grow it's familiar long, scaled trunk. Phoenix Canariensis is fully frost hardy down to about -12 degrees centigrade making it suitable for planting outside in our climate (although it may need some protection from very severe weather when young). Prefers a well drained soil and not too much water. If planted outside it will only need watering once every 2-3 weeks.
