The fruits of Strawberry ‘Sonata’ are deliciously sweet and juicy and once picked will last well without darkening in colour. This resilient variety is able to stand very hot spells and periods of heavy rain, with far fewer mis-shapen berries during the first and second pickings than are seen in other varieties. Strawberry ‘Sonata’ is well suited to growing in containers for a space saving crop on the patio. Cropping periods can also be brought forward or extended if you are growing them in a greenhouse or polytunnel. Height: 20cm (8”). Spread: 30cm (12”).
