Collection comprises 20 strawberry plants (5 of each variety): Christine - This strawberry is the earliest variety we offer, cropping outside from the first week in June, and from mid May under cover. The strawberries are large, firm, extremely juicy and sweet! Easy to grow, with good pest and disease resistance.Albion - A heavy cropping and disease resistant strawberry which produces a good crop of large, deliciously flavoured berries right through the summer. Plants are moderately resistant to Verticillium Wilt and highly resistant to Crown Rot, and will produce up to 1 lb of mouthwatering strawberries per plant each year! Crops from June to October in several flushes. An ideal variety for containers on the patio too.Sallybright - This mid-season variety was bred by Dr David Simpson at East Malling, and named after his wife. Fruits are large, uniform and well presented on upright plants, making picking easy. The flavour is superb, it makes delicious jam, and it shows excellent all round resistance to disease.Sonata - A recent variety to come out of the breeding work done by Plant Research International, and one generating considerable interest amongst growers. The high quality, uniformly shaped fruits are produced in abundance; they're deliciously sweet and juicy and last well once picked!. Pack of 20 Plants (5 of each variety).
