What happens on the day

Set in leafy Regent’s Park amid heritage-listed buildings and beautiful gardens ZSL London Zoo is an oasis in the heart of the capital.
There are so many animal attractions to see including the Butterfly Paradise the Reptile house Aquarium free daily animal demonstrations a fantastic Children’s Zoo Animal Adventure and the new Penguin Beach. Penguins at ZSL London Zoo are getting a new and improved home at the end of May.

Penguin Beach will recreate a South American landscape in the heart of London with stunning colonies of more than 100 Macaroni and Humboldt penguins. The new exhibit features a larger pool with underwater viewing areas so you can see how our flippered friends fly under the waves. And a larger demonstration area with covered seating turns feeding time into an even bigger spectacle than before!

 
Need to know

Minimum age: Adults are those 16 years and over. Children are those who are 3 to 15 years old. Under 3’s go free. Anybody under the age of 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult
There are no height or weight restrictions
Vouchers are valid for use from 1st April to 31st October 2011 and cannot be extended
You should allow a whole day for your visit. Last admission is one hour before the advertised closing time

The Zoo is open every day at the following times:1st April to 15th July 2011 – 10.00am to 5.30pm 16th July to 4th September 2011 – 10.00am to 6.00pm 5th September to 29th October 2011 – 10.00am to 5.30pm 30th and 31st October 2011 – 10.00am to 4.00pm (Times are subject to alteration)

Most of the zoo is accessible for wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties. There are certain areas such as the aquarium which may have more limited access. Please note: No dogs bicycles scooters rollerskates rollerblades or skateboards are allowed on Zoo premises
Heelys roller shoes must not be used as skates but may be worn as shoes. Please call before your visit if you require further details
