Sowing March and April sowings should be made in gentle heat, under glass into trays of compost. Later sowings in May can be made direct into the flowering site in small clumps or shallow drills. Planting Sowings under glass should be pricked off into trays 5cm (2”) apart and gradually hardened off before transplanting into the flowering site 10cm (4”) apart. Outside sowings should be gradually thinned to the same spacings when seedlings are large enough to handle. Other Instructions The strong stems and sturdy growth of this variety make it suitable for a bedding subject in exposed areas.
