A compact, slowgrowing, evergreen shrub wth arching shoots bearing oval, glossy dark green leaves, white beneath. Single, yellow flowers bloom in late spring followed by blueblack fruit in autumn. Suits most soils. Lightly prune, when dormant. Ideal for low maintenance hedging, banks and slopes or coastal areas.
