This functional lamp was designed in 1962 by one of the pioneers of German industrial design, Prof. Wilhelm Braun-Feldweg (1908–1998). The metal shade of the wall lamp can be angled so that the light is thrown entirely on the floor or on the ceiling, or more or less equally in both directions. The mood created by the light can be changed completely by a simple movement. The brass housing is matt nickel-plated and brushed, and painted white inside. Britz 2 Metal shade 24 x 24 x 10 cm (10” x 10” x 4” approx.), housing 16.8 x 4 cm (7” x 2” approx.). E14 lamp holder, 2 x 60 W, D35 or round bulb.
