A Club Root resistant autumn cauliflower. The fine white curds are well protected by leaves and the heads naturally mature over a period of weeks thus avoiding a glut. Sow March-June for cutting August-November. For early crops sow seed under glass, at 10-15°C (50-60°F) February-March. Harden off plants before planting outdoors. For maincrop sow direct outdoors, 1.8cm (¾") deep, in a prepared seed-bed March-May. Summer types - bend leaf over developing head to protect from sun. Winter types - bend over leaf to protect from frost. HEALTH BENEFITS: Ideal for slimmers, low in calories. Good vitamin C (Anti-ageing, wound healing, decreasing blood cholesterol and prevention of infections. Assists the body in absorbing iron.
