Fine-flavoured, attractive and unusual light green, bract-free heads are produced on strong, uniform plants. A superb cauliflower to come out of our own Group's breeding. Matures in September from a May sowing. For early crops sow seed under glass, at 10-15°C (50-60°F) February-March. Harden off plants before planting outdoors. For maincrop sow direct outdoors, 1.8cm (¾") deep, in a prepared seed-bed March-May. Summer types - bend leaf over developing head to protect from sun. Winter types - bend over leaf to protect from frost. HEALTH BENEFITS: Ideal for slimmers, low in calories. Good vitamin C (Anti-ageing, wound healing, decreasing blood cholesterol and prevention of infections. Assists the body in absorbing iron.
