The Cedrus atlantica Repens is a tall, weeping native tree to Africa and the Middle East. It has a pyramidical crown made up of relatively few short and ascending branches. The tree produces foliage of a bright rich silvery bluegreen finish. From June to September flowers appear and small light brown cylindrical cones also become present. Glauca is used for selected seedling plants with bluish foliage and is also a superb subject for specimen and parkland planting.
