Cherry 'Merton Glory' - 1 tree Cherry 'Merton Glory' - 1 tree

An exceptional and early-ripening cherry variety, Cherry ‘Merton Glory’ produces large, yellow cherries, flushed with red, which will be ready for picking in late June. Attractive white flowers in April to May are followed by delicious 'heart-shaped' cherries with a firm white inner flesh, a succulent sweet flavour and a small stone. Grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock, to produce a compact, productive cherry tree with good sized fruits. This cherry is well suited to growing in small spaces and 60cm (2’) diameter containers, or trained against a wall. ‘Merton Glory’ is not self fertile so it is best grown with Cherry ‘Crown Morello’ as a pollination companion. Height and spread: 2.5m (8’). Rootstock: Colt.Useful links:How to grow fruit trees
