A favourite border plant for autumn colour, now in the compact form of Chinese Lantern ‘Halloween Queen’. This neat hardy perennial provides months of interest as its white flowers develop against a backdrop of bright green foliage. The edible orange fruits, known as Cape Gooseberries, develop inside papery lanterns as autumn approaches, making wonderful decorative displays that can be cut and dried for flower arranging. If left on the plant they will slowly skeletonize, adding ornate winter interest to your garden. Height: 30cm (12”). Spread: 40cm (16”).
