This yellow cucumber has a crisp, crunchy peel and more bite than normal cucumbers. When the cucumber is cream coloured with faint stripes, the taste is a sweet cucumber taste. As it ripens, the colour of the cucumber changes dramatically to a warm orange. The flesh becomes white and the fruit is then best cooked. Ideal grown under glass.
