Made famous by Joseph Sangster, the breeder and proprietor of T&M from 1913-52. ‘Ipswich Pinks’ create a mass of colour in pinks, reds, bicolours and white, above tightly knitted mounds of silvery blue foliage. This pretty variety produces crimped edged dianthus flowers over long periods, that make wonderfully scented cut flowers. This spreading evergreen perennial is a must for the cottage garden borders and rock gardens, or for edging or low walls and paths. Height: 23cm (9").
