Product reviews for Feuerhand Petroleum Lamp
Feuerhand Petroleum Lamp
A German original, steeped in tradition: the storm lantern "Feuerhand", which was used to keep construction sites safe up until the 1970s, now provides a pleasant glow in rooms and gardens. Until the mid-1940s, Feuerhand storm lanterns were made in Beierfeld in Saxony. After the end of the Second World War, production was taken up again in Schleswig-Holstein. Since 1902, nothing has changed in their manufacturing process. The Feuerhand has nothing in common with the numerous cheap replicas. The casing is guaranteed waterproof and the precise workmanship gives a comfortable hold. The Schott Suprax glass is high temperature-resistant. All parts are tin-coated and so are rust-proof (but the Feuerhand should not be constantly exposed to wind and water). Height 25.5 cm, weight 530 g, volume 340 ccm, lasts 20 hours.
