The Fraxinus Excelsior Jaspidea is a striking cultivar that was found originally in France. It is a vigorous, medium sized deciduous tree, with lush green leaves that develop glorious, long lasting, butter yellow autumn colours in mid to late October. The young branches are an attractive, goldenyellow and are particularly handsome throughout winter. It is a beautiful tree for large gardens and woodland areas. Suitable for a position in full sun and grows well in most soil including chalk. They are hardy and reasonably tolerant of windy areas, pollution and costal sites.
