Heritage Collection Spinach Bloomsdale stands well without bolting during hot weather if kept well watered. Successional spring and summer sowings give a longer cropping period.

Spinach has a high nutritional value and is extremely rich in antioxidants especially when fresh or lightly steamed. Ideal for freezing.

Cropping: 40 days

Sowing:
Sow March to July outdoors. Can be sown under cloches or frames in September. Sow seed thinly 1cm deep in broad drills 30cm apart.

Growing:Thin seedlings to 5cm apart when large enough to handle thinnings will be suitable for use in salads.

Aftercare:
Harvest leaves as required picking only a few from each plant. Keep plants well watered during hot dry weather.
