Lily Double Jewels are both gorgeous to see and are fragrant too. The pink and white coloured blooms are pollen free and last twice as long as their single cousins. They are perfect for your borders or in pots on the patio as well as making stunning cut flowers. These are guaranteed to provide you with year after year of exceptional beauty.
Plant the bulbs so that the base of the plant will be in the shade and the main growth in the sun. Bulbs should be planted approximately 15cm (6) deep and when planting push the bulb in well to avoid any air pockets below the bulb which can cause rotting. Water in well and continue to water but only lightly as the soil should never become waterlogged. Keep the ground around the bulbs weed-free and provide a mulch of bark or fresh compost to help moisture retention. Provide support for taller lilies as required. When in growth feed every 3-4 weeks with a high-potash fertiliser.
