Small, upright deciduous tree with outstanding leaf colouration, bronze red when young turning to dark bronze green. Very deep rosered flower buds opening to rosered flowers. Orangeyellow apples persit well into autumn. It thrives in a wide range of soils, and while it is quite happy in partial shade, the leaves have a better bronzered colour in full sun. It can grow upto a height of 7m and a spread of 4m.
