Mint (Pennyroyal) - 1 packet (250 seeds) Mint (Pennyroyal) - 1 packet (250 seeds)

This hardy, ground hugging perennial, has strong, pungent peppermint scented leaves that are traditionally used to make a refreshing, aromatic tea, and is often reputed to be an effective insect repellant. Fresh Pennyroyal mint leaves can also be used in moderation as a seasoning for stuffings, sauces, stews or with game, while the dried leaves add a subtle flavour to stewed fruits. Pennyroyal is one of the smallest of the mint family but will happily scramble through borders if left unchecked. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 100cm (39"). Caution: Pennyroyal should not be consumed during pregnancy.Useful links:How to grow herbs  Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. For more details about edible flowers click here.
