From late spring to early summer the Mock Orange (Philadelphus Virginal ) will bear large fragrant, semi double flowers set among the dark green oval leaves. It has been awarded the RHS award of garden merit. Cultivation Method: They are moderately to very frost hardy, are easily grown in moist, welldrained soil and need a position in sun or light shade. You can propagate from seeds or from cuttings taken in summer. After flowering, cut some older shoots back to young growths, leaving young shoots to flower the following year.
