A refreshing mix of pear and apple, the ‘Nashi Pear’ combines the shape and crispness of an apple with the speckled skin, grainy texture and delicious sweet flavour of a pear. These unusual fruits are best left to ripen on the tree and can be harvested in September and October when required.Grafted onto 'Quince Adams' rootstock to produce a tree with moderate vigour and promote fruiting at an early age. These strong growing trees are partially self-fertile but crop yields will be increased by growing a second Nashi Pear close by to aid pollination. Rootstock: Quince Adams. Height and spread: Up to 4m (13’). Useful links:How to grow fruit trees
