Whilst ants are not pests in the same way as aphids or caterpillars they can cause unsightly mounds in lawns or borders. Ant colonies can now be treated using natural nematode products, which can be watered directly into the mound and irritate the ants to the extent that the adult ants remove the larvae and the colony.
