Orange 'Bigaradier' - 1 plant in 5l pot Orange 'Bigaradier' - 1 plant in 5l pot

Orange ‘Bigaradier’ produces lovely bright orange fruits similar to the Seville orange which are ideal for making delicious marmalade. Set against a bushy foil of glossy, dark foliage, the delicate clusters of tiny white flowers fill the air with their delicious fragrance from April to June. The fruits that follow may take up to a year to ripen but are well worth the wait. Harvest them as they ripen - once picked, oranges will keep for up to 2 weeks. Orange trees are capable of surviving brief periods below 0C, but are best grown in large containers and moved indoors to a bright frost free position from autumn to spring. This tree is self fertile and will not need a pollination companion. Propagated onto 'PS' rootstock and supplied as a large specimen bush (often in fruit) in a 5 litre pot. Height: 2m (6’). Spread: 1.2m (2’). Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. For more details about edible flowers click here.
