This pack contains 2kg of Organic and completely sustainable seaweed granules packed in a reusable hessian sack. The seaweed for our seaweed granules (Ascophyllum nodosum) is from the cold clear, unpolluted waters surrounding the Shetland Isles so it is made in the UK. Harvested by hand at low tide and monitored by the Scottish National Heritage. The harvesters, using a very sharp knife, ensure at least 6” of the stalk is left to regenerate, growing back stronger than ever. It is simply bagged and dried, so it is completely chemical free. The seaweed granules can be spread directly around established plants, added to the planting hole when planting out shrubs, scattered over the lawn to produce extremely green grass, used around fruit and vegetable plants to produce tastier crops or added to your compost heap to speed up the process and add nutrients. You can also add to hanging baskets to increase water retention in soil.
