Sow in mid March- mid April under frames or in mid April- mid May sow them in beds in the open ground. Transplant after 5-6 weeks. Harvest all gourds before the hard frost arrives. Move them to a well-ventilated, dark room and dry the fruits out for at approx 6 months. Turn the fruit every few weeks, to prevent rotting and dry evenly .
