An excellent parsnip with high quality tapering roots with some resistance to canker. Row 12m (40'). RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Large rooted, traditional type. Maturing time approximately 32-36 weeks from sowing. Excellent roots can be grown on fertile ground which has been well dug during winter. Sow seeds March-April in drills drawn 30-38cm (12-15") apart. Thin seedlings to 15-20cm (6-8") apart. Lift the roots as required. Exposure to frost improves the flavour.
