Polystichum polyblepharum
Polystichum polyblepharum is a very attractive fern, the foliage of which arches out from a central crown forming a clump. Tall, shiny, dark-green fronds with golden bristles in spring. The name 'polyblepharum' means many eyelashes. Grow in shade to partial shade in moist, but well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter. Remove dead fronds before the new ones unfurl. Protect from excessive winter wet. Supplied in a 3litre Pot Eventual Height: 70cm Eventual Spread: 90cm Full to Partial Shade Evergreen RHS Award of Garden Merit
