The bright orange, quick maturing, strong-handled fruit of this semi-bush pumpkin are delicious to eat, and perfect for Halloween. Fruits weigh 6-8 lbs and store well in a dry environment at approximately 10°C. Grow pumpkins as suggested for marrows. To grow really big fruits leave only two fruits to each plant. Cut away all other growth leaving only a few leaves to each fruit. Move fruits frequently to give good shape and colour. Sow end April-May indoors, harvest September-October. HEALTH BENEFITS: Excellent antioxidant properties and a good source of vitamins A, C, B1, E and beta carotene. Pumpkin seeds are also highly nutritious.
