This Shiplap T&G Dutch Barn style shed is not only very stylish but also has huge internal space making it ideal to store large or tall equipment. It is constructed around 27mm x 45mm framing with 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding. It also has two pre-glazed styrene wide-opening windows; a pre-hung ledged and braced double door (including rim lock and key) and a tongue and groove floor and roof. It is manufactured using FSC-approved quality timber making this garden shed both durable and robust.

The gambrel roof is symmetrically two-sided with two slopes on each side. The upper slope is positioned at a shallow angle while the lower slope is steep. This design provides the advantages of a sloped roof while maximising headroom on the shed's upper level.

Shiplap is a basic style of overlapping siding board and this overlapping pattern creates a weather-resistant shell around the building. The tight fitting nature of the tongue and groove joints are more likely to provide a long-lasting seal against rain snow and ice; although once your garden shed has been installed you should continue to maintain it with a good quality preservative every year or two in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
