A high yielding butternut squash, giving you a good supply of delicious squashes throughout late summer and autumn, each one a lovely buff colour, with attractive, fine-flavoured orange flesh. Summer/storage variety. Sow under cover late April-May, and plant out when danger of frost has passed, allowing 60cm (24") between bush varieties and 120cm (48") between trailing plants. Harvest late September-October. HEALTH BENEFITS: High levels of vitamin A, C and B6. Good source of potassium and fibre. COOKING HINTS: One of the most versatile of all vegetables. They may be used in any way that a potato can, and stored all winter in a frost free place. Try baking in foil like a jacket potato.
