Bushy, sturdy thigh-high plants producing masses of strongly scented blooms. The strong, cuttable flowering stems each produce up to 6 frilled flowers, set off beautifully against deep green foliage. Height 60cm (2'). Easy to grow. HA - Hardy annual.Also available, the beautiful single colours - blue, light salmon, navy blue. Sow under cover January-February and plant out in April after hardening them off. Alternatively, sow April-May outdoors. The finest sweet peas are obtained from sowings made in pots September-October, with young plants wintered in a cold frame, and planted out in March or April, and flowers late May-August. Some sweet peas have hard black seeds and we advise soaking them in water for eight hours before sowing.
