A low-growing, extremely floriferous series which requires no staking and will put on a long-lasting show of sweetly scented blooms. Ideal for pots, baskets or borders. Height 35cm (14"). Easy to grow. HA - Hardy annual. Sow under cover January-February and plant out in April after hardening them off. Alternatively, sow April-May outdoors. The finest sweet peas are obtained from sowings made in pots September-October, with young plants wintered in a cold frame, and planted out in March or April, and flowers late May-August. Some sweet peas have hard black seeds and we advise soaking them in water for eight hours before sowing.
