Tulipa sylvestris - 10 bulbs Tulipa sylvestris - 10 bulbs

The woodland tulip was accidentally introduced into monastic vineyards in 1597, when the bulbs became tangled in the roots of the vines that monks imported to the monasteries! Tulip sylvestris soon naturalised in the UK and is often seen today, growing on riverbanks up and down the country. This dainty, wild tulip is recognised by its pointed yellow petals and wonderful fragrance. A real treat for the garden!Useful links:How to grow bulbs, corms and tubers
