Viburnum tinus Gwenllian is an evergreen shrub with shiny, ovate leaves. In late winter to spring, clusters of red buds open to white flowers, followed by blueblack berries in autumn. Plant in moderately fertile, humusrich, welldrained soils in sun or shade. It will reach a height of 2.5m and a spread of 2.5m after 1020 years. The fruit can cause a mild stomach upset if ingested.
