Cox Cox's Orange Pippin - Eating Apple Tree

Crops in: October - January
Availability: Pre-Order
Dispatched: From late October

Description: Still the definitive British eating apple, bearing fruit of quite outstanding flavour, sweet, crisp and juicy. Less robust than more modern varieties it needs a little more care and attention to crop well. Beautiful pink and white blossom in spring.

Planting distance: 4m (13ft)

Pollination: Group 3. Each variety has ideal pollinators. These groups are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 according to flowering time. Best results will be obtained if this variety is planted near another apple of the same group or one group either side (so an ideal pollinator for a group 3 variety is one in group 2, 3 or 4).

Rootstocks:
- M26 Semi dwarfing, Approximate height 3-4 metres when mature
- MM106 Semi vigorous, Approximate height 4-5 metres when mature
