Viburnum Tinus - 17cm Pot Viburnum Tinus - 17cm Pot

Supplied in a 17cm pot. Your Viburnum plant will arrive pre-planted in a 17cm pot and packed in specially designed protective packaging to ensure it's in top condition when you receive it. All you need to do is remove it from the box, give it a good dose of water and leave to 'rest' for 1-2 days in a sheltered spot. Carefully remove from pot before planting and make sure the hole is deep and wide enough to fit the entire root ball without bending or breaking the roots. Water-in after planting. This Japanese species is a popular shrub, noted for the wonderful fragrance of its soft pink spring flowers, and its good autumn colour. This a good, reliable shrub with a bushy dense habit, making a fantastic structural feature or screen after a few years. Plants are free-flowering, with large heads of red flowers, which first turn pink and then white. The rounded felty leaves are tinted deep purple when they first emerge, then turn deep greean in the summer and turn brilliant golden orange in autumn. Viburnum Tinus is relatively maintenance free so it's perfect for leaving to it's own devices. Only after a good few years when it becomes very dense is a good time to prune out some of the older or dead wood, but still isn't essential. Grows in any soil, sun or shade.
